Jerry Rimoldi was an SDBC Life Member. He was born 12/28/1934 and he passed away Sunday, 3/02/2014. He was one of San Diego Bicycle Club's Original members.
Jerry, a former Racer & Coach was President and a Board member for both SDBC and the ABLofA, now USA Cycling! Jerry was a bicycle store owner and he was SDBC all during the 1950's and 1960's and early 1970's!
Jerry coached many former State Champion's, National Champion's and 1969 Women's World Champion Audrey McElmury.
Jerry is now "taking a pull" in a better place!
SDBC will be dedicating the Masters 55/60+ race at this years 2014 Barrio Logan Grand Prix, May 3, in his honor!

2014 Fiesta Island Time Trial Series |

The second time trial of the season is taking place this Sunday, March 2nd. We have added team time trials to the March 2nd and 30th events.
All remaining events are open for registrations. Check it out on:http://www.webscorer.com/fitt

- Sunday, September 28th
- Sunday, November 23rd
Hi-Tech Bikes will be the series title sponsor this year, which will provide onsite mechanical support.
New to 2014, we are using Webscorer for online registration, timing and results to streamline the process. Racers and fans can track results in real time on an iPhone.
Also new this year, top six finishers in each category will be eligible to earn points towards series competition. Prizes and awards will be given to top three series winners at the last race of the season in November.
You may sign up each race individually, or sign up for the entire series to receive 15% discount. Current SDBC members will receive $5 discount. Please contact fitt_info@sdbc.org for coupon code.

A Note On Pricing
The clothing committee worked very hard in negotiating prices with Pactimo. Despite almost across-the-board price increases on garments, we're keeping the prices of many popular items the same as last year. In cases where we have raised prices, we have kept the increase as small as possible.

This bike has been proudly ridden on a number of SDBC D4 and D5 rides this year, seen on TV for the 2013 YMCA Ride Across California, finished in fourth in this year's BLGP, finished 2012 Brentwood GP, 2012 Ladera Ranch GP, among other kids races. Sad to part with it, but it needs a good home for the next budding SDBC racer.
Upgrades:
- Specialized "cheater brakes" bought at and installed by UC Cyclery
- Panaracer Pasela tires (higher PSI) over the stock Kenda Koncepts (lower PSI)
- Velox rim tape installed (to support higher PSI)
