1. What is your profession/job title?

Senior Mechanical Engineer at Illumina Inc.

2. Which SDBC team are you on?

Men’s Cat 1 Team.

3. What's your go-to song to pump you up before a race?

Time Trials: “L’estasi Dell’oro” by Ennio Morricone and Road Races/Crits: “Saturday Night Special” by Lynyrd Skynyrd

4. Do you have any goofy rituals you do before/during/after riding?

I always line up my shorts to my tan lines.

5. What’s your favorite meal to eat after a long ride?

It’s a tie between a nice big chocolate chip cookie or an In-n-out Double-Double.

6. What’s your favorite race and why?

The San Dimas Stage Race has to be my favorite. It is like a mini Tour de France in Southern California with Yellow, Green, and Polka dot jerseys up for grabs. It keeps the race animated as there are parallel tactics being played out for each jersey.

7. How did you find out about SDBC?

Through the locally famous Saturday group ride when I first moved to San Diego!

8. What’s your favorite flavor of Fluid??

No question - Fresh Citrus.
