Join us for our annual ride and camp weekend to Borrego Springs! Meet at the Mira Mesa Park & Ride (Mira Mesa Blvd & I-15) at 0800. Leave your camping gear with a SAG vehicle and enjoy the ride to Borrego Palm Canyon Campground.
Spend the evening sharing dinner and stories around the campfire. After breakfast, ride back to San Diego via Montezuma Grade. SAG support is limited to carrying your gear—riders are responsible for their own transportation to Borrego.
This event is limited to 60 participants (riders and SAG drivers). Dinner and breakfast are provided. Up to 10 SAG vehicles are welcome (motor homes are not allowed in the group campground).
Route Options
• Route 1:
Out: 78 miles, 6,200 feet of climbing
Back: 72 miles, 5,800 feet of climbing
• Route 2:
Out: 76 miles, 6,700 feet of climbing (includes 10 miles of gravel—doable on road tires)
Back: 81 miles, 6,600 feet of climbing
