Memorial Day Ride

Ride to Remember those who Served

Join us for a scenic ride through Rose Canyon and up Soledad Mountain, where we’ll regroup at Nautilus Street to ensure all riders are together.

From there, we’ll head down Nautilus to Windansea, riding south along the coast through Ocean Beach and into Point Loma, stopping at the first gate (with the guard shack). We’ll wait here for everyone to regroup. Afterward, we’ll continue into the cemetery (if permitted) for a more fitting group photo opportunity.

Leaving Point Loma, we’ll return through Ocean Beach via Santa Barbara Avenue, with a possible stop at Newbreak Coffee & Café (based on group consensus) before heading back to UC Cyclery.

This ride will be led by SDBC ride leaders, and tandems are welcome. Please bring two bottles of fluid and be ready to roll at 0830.
