Cecy Krone Memorial Ride

Remembering Cecy Krone & supporting MADD

Join SDBC for a 54-mile bike ride (including Les’s Loop) to Carlsbad as we honor and remember fellow club members whose lives were tragically taken by drunk drivers. This meaningful ride will be led by SDBC ride leaders.

We’ll depart from UC Cyclery at 0830.

Note: UC Cyclery will not be open, but restrooms are available at Starbucks and Ralph’s.

This is a fun, moderate-paced ride designed for us to come together, enjoy cycling, and remember those we’ve lost. On the return trip, we’ll stop at Café La Terre (located at 315 S. Hwy 101 in Solana Beach) for a free cup of coffee.

Red memorial MADD ribbons will be provided to all participants to tie onto their bicycles during the ride as a symbol of remembrance.
