We need YOU to help fill over 100 volunteer slots during race week. Whether you can take one shift or multiple, your support makes this event possible. Plus, all volunteers are invited to a special Thank You party after the event!

Health & Safety:

We’ll follow all San Diego County health guidelines in effect on race day.

Volunteer Roles:

• Setup/Tear Down Crew (Bring work gloves; no flip flops)

• Truck Drivers (For large/small box trucks—drive the course while helpers manage equipment)

• Registration Team (Sit-down role; hat/sunscreen recommended)

• Kid’s Race Crew (Directors oversee workers; workers corral racers by age group)

• Prize Presenters (Hand out primes/prizes; mostly sit-down)

• Course Marshals (Chief assigns corners; bring sunscreen/hat)

• Hospitality Squad (Deliver snacks to volunteers/officials via wagon or rolling cooler)

• Announcer Assistant (Support the announcer with start lists and tasks)

• Equipment Teams (Load/unload trucks; sign placement—gloves provided/recommended)
