Safety tip of the week: When riding in a paceline look much further ahead than when riding solo and adjust for obstacles sooner, to give those behind time and space to do so too. So this doesn't happen:

Legal rights tip of the week: Can bicyclists be cited for impeding traffic? San Diego cyclist Bill Davidson, who is not a lawyer, recently argued why the answer to this question is no:

More and more cyclists are learning their rights to use the full lane and the associated safety and comfort advantages that come with it, but some in law enforcement are not there yet. Example from Park Blvd last week:
